March Health Affairs Explores Innovations in Health Care Delivery
What will health care delivery look like in the coming years? The answer may lie in the new issue of Health Affairs. Made possible in part through support from the Aetna Foundation, the March issue showcases 15 health care systems that have instituted significant innovations in the delivery of care, endeavoring to achieve the Triple Aim:
- improving the health of populations
- improving individuals' experience
- and lowering health care costs
Profiles of the 15 innovations, which were discussed at a conference in Washington, D.C. on December 16, 2010, demonstrate that real improvements can be made, despite the many challenges that exist in our current system.
