New Research Projects to Study Federal Policies' Impact on Childhood Obesity

Aetna and the Aetna Foundation have awarded grants to two leading nonpartisan think-tanks – the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress and Partnership for Prevention – to study the effect of current federal programs and policies to quantify their impact on children's nutritional intake and/or physical activity levels. Using this data, the organizations will make informed recommendations on future policy options that will help address today's well-documented childhood obesity epidemic. More information is available in our news release.

Foundation Online Grant Submission System Temporarily Offline

The Aetna Foundation's online grant submission system will be closed through May 31 for maintenance. Grant-seekers will be unable to submit a proposal or Letter of Inquiry, and grantees will be unable to submit reports or updates during this time. Our grant system will reopen on June 1. We regret any inconvenience the temporary shut-down may cause. Questions may be addressed to AetnaFoundation@aetna.com.
